One of many concepts and ideas we pitched to Netflix / Hasan’s team. Unfortunately this direction was not selected by the client, but some of these design themes still live on in the final guide.
SELECT STAGE ANIMATIONS
After a very thorough exploration and development process, here are a handful of stage animations I worked on that made it into the final rounds for the Patriot Act Graphics Bible.
EARLY STAGE ANIMATION EXPLORATION
I helped explore and develop graphic elements including full stage animations, typography, mortises and data viz, and how they could all live and move about the stage. Starting in black and white helped me stay focused on just the “motion language” at this phase of the project, and allowed us to cover more ground.
PATRIOT ACT NETFLIX SET REVEAL
In addition to developing the Graphics Bible, I was also tasked with designing and animating the stage/set reveal:
